As well as the obvious - lying on the beach, swimming, eating and enjoying yourself - Nha Trang offers a great deal for the visitor to do.

Things to do

• Diving - Nha Trang is famed as one of Vietnam's top diving location, and there are several international standard dive schools in the town
• Snorkelling - If diving isn't your thing, why not try snorkelling? The boat trips will happily take you out and you'll get a chance to see the beautiful sea life and coral which has made Nha Trang famous
• Watersports - As well as underwater activities there are opportunities to jetski, kayak, windsurf and sail. Ask around on the beach near the Sailing Club.

Things to see

• Po Nagar Cham Towers - These anchient Champa towers are the remants of an Indian civilization that used to rule Southern Vietnam. Just a 25 minute walk from the beach these stunning towers are definately worth a visit
• Loc Son Pagoda (Thai Nguyen Street) - As you travel around Nha Trang you will see Loc Son's 79 ft statue of Buddha, but it is even more spectacular up close.
• National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam(1 Cau Da) - A very impressive museum incorporating an aquarium full of sharks, crabs, coral, sea horses and more. Great if you want to se the sea life without getting your feet wet!
